Pieter will guide you through the whole process of making and perfecting sourdough bread, from creating and feeding your starter to baking your bread in a floured banneton.
Avoiding yeast products, we will make our delicious bread with just flour, water, salt – and that vital ingredient, time!
We will enjoy a sourdough ploughman’s lunch; later you will leave with a baked loaf, dough to bake off at home, and a sourdough bread-making kit including a bamboo banneton or proving basket.
Not to mention written notes to refer back to, many new skills and sourdough bread-making knowledge!
Our goal is to teach you the techniques and give you the knowledge you need to become a competent home baker of delicious, nourishing and beautiful sourdough bread, and to enjoy the process for a lifetime.
